Sales Department sends authorized Purchase Requisition to Purchasing Department. Purchasing Department issues authorized Purchase Order and sends to selected supplier. Receiving Report is prepared when merchandise is received; Purchasing Department audits the supplier’s Invoice, or bill. Purchasing Department contacts supplier if merchandise is defective.
