What is it about? The NHS is looking for plurality of provision Trying to get more locally responsive services Third sector ideally placed No mechanism to take this agenda forward

Essential Ingredients Understanding of policy A focus on the seminal document Our health, our care, our say The second part of the course is more practical, writing tenders and doing presentations to potential funders Partnerships

Where we are now We went to a short course panel on Monday and obtained approval in principle We are about to commence marketing the course Anticipated start date is February 2010
