My Trip to North Carolina By: Ashley S

My Aunt Linda asked me if I wanted to go North Carolina. I was so excited! I really wanted to go. Now I am so glad I went!!!

I packed up and we drove there. I was so happy when I saw the tip of a mountain!!! I still think it was exciting to see a mountain.

We got there at at night and went to sleep. We got there at at night and went to sleep. I was so tired!!! I was so tired!!! It was so cool! My first day in the mountains. It was so cool! My first day in the mountains.

 When we woke up that morning we decided to go hiking.  Hiking is hard, but really fun!!!  Now I know that hiking hurts your legs.

When we got done with 2 long hikes we went to eat and went to bed. When we got done with 2 long hikes we went to eat and went to bed. It felt pretty cool knowing that I went on 2 hikes. The next day was The 4 th of July!!! We went to 2 fairs, a river, then another fair, and saw fire works. I thought “I’m in the mountains, watching fire works, and eating ice cream it can’t get better!!! Now I know it really couldn’t get any better.

After fireworks we drove back through heavy traffic to the cabin. It was really bad traffic. I still think it was really bad traffic.

TTTThe next day we just hung out, watched movies and I played with the dog. IIII was sad I’d be leaving tomorrow. IIII had fun on my last day!!!

When we woke up we packed and drove home. I was sad we were leaving. It was so much fun!!! I made the best of my last day here.

When I got home me and my friends lit off fireworks for a late 4th of July. I thought it was nice of my friends to save me fireworks. Now I think it was a great late 4 th of July!!!
