Month 7 Environmental Context

24 to Double Schedule of Monthly Training 1 st Year: 7th Month What is the next big event on the calendar for which we can challenge our congregation to bring friends? Plan the event (when, what, how, who) How to bring the crowds (from the congregation / marketing) Getting people involved (in production, in preparation) Getting the program ready (who is in charge and who is helping) Getting the people ready (love the visitors)

Month 7 6 months summary. The key points we should have done or are doing up till now.

Key Points for Vision 1 Sharp sentence Target audience How to reach them More specific the target audience, the easier to reach- More general the harder. A good vision persuades that God has something greater. (1 renowned program per 100)

Key points on Lay Involvement 2 A disciple is one who is saved, living the Spirit lead life, doing the works of ministry in the local church. The works of ministry are determined by our Gifts from God We discover these gifts by giving a gift inventory and training on Wednesday nights We advertise and encourage all our people to come to these Wednesday night ‘s training so we can involve as many as Possible in this discipleship training.

Key Points of Month 3 1.A church must have a vehicle to involve laity in ministry for discipling to take place. 2.A “pastor’s meal” is the best method for doing this. 3.A pastor’s meal offers friends, follow-up, leads, commitment and importance. 4.4 areas are covered in this pastor’s meal: Church’s Vision, Evangelism training (conversion), Spiritual gifts discovery and training, and discipleship through lay involvement.

Key Points Month 4 1. To make our church like heaven on earth for all to see and feel. 2. Give preferential treatment the lost and un-churched 3.Provide parking near the front door for these 4.To have outside and inside greeters making these feel welcome and excepted 5.To have young people at the door to open doors for them 6.Use Ushers for handing out the bulletin and handling crowd control 7. Have Shuttlers to give tours and follow- up.

Key Points for Assimilation 5 Have a person with the Administration gift organize this very important ministry Make sure to get visitors names through registrations, gift cards, host and hostesses, visitors cards Map out route to visitors from church for gift delivery Have a volunteer to phone visitors inviting them to Pastor’s meal Organize deacon contact to visitors.

Key Points for Worship 6 To put God first Target the first-timer from target audience Involve as many as possible in ministry Make each service an exciting, production where everyone comes “expecting” Allow the worship, music and preaching to “build” to an altar call

SUMMARY How are we doing at implementing these 6 months training. Try not to fall too far behind Remember everything does not come together at once or when we would like them to.. BUT keep pressing on to conquer your city for Christ

MONTH 7 Focuses on the implementation of Team 3 (Tech Arts Team). You will learn the importance of producing the finest, high-tech, professional and exciting worship service that makes the Word seen and heard with cutting edge applications. The impact of ambiance and the contextual factors of worship are remarkable.

Shock and Awe

Vision Seeking out ways to produce the finest, high-tech, professional and exciting worship service which makes the Word seen and heard with cutting edge applications.

Scriptural Significance “When the queen of Sheba saw all the wisdom of Solomon and the palace he had built, 5 the food on his table, the seating of his officials, the attending servants in their robes, his cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he made at the temple of the LORD, she was overwhelmed. 6 She said to the king, "The report I heard in my own country about your achievements and your wisdom is true.” I Kings 10:4-6 “He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.” Matthew 28:19

Scriptural Significance So how the ushers dressed mattered? How the building looked mattered? How the banquet was presented mattered? = Shock and Awe So how the ushers dressed mattered? How the building looked mattered? How the banquet was presented mattered? = Shock and Awe
