What We Know About The Facilitator! Good Facilitators... -Encourage and invite people to participate! -Create an equal balance with discussions! -Activate schema! -Tap into the strengths of the people they are working with to create synergy! -Make it real and relevant!

What Else Do We Know About The Facilitator! Good Facilitators... -Ask questions instead of make statements! -Are invisible! -Are mobile! -Get on the group’s level when helping or listening to a group! -Connect with each individual!

GREAT FACILITATORS... INVITE active participation through collaborative structures! INVOLVE all participants with skillful monitoring, intervening when necessary and by asking facilitating questions! INTERPRET the results of the collaboration and how the team worked together !

Invite with collaborative structures! The 7 Deadly Sins (of facilitation!)

Involve all participants! Give them roles!

Interpret the results! Reflections!
