Meet My Favorite Actor Mark Wahlberg, born in 1971, has been my favorite actor ever since I first saw “Boogie Nights”. Wahlberg has been married to Rhea Durhan since 2009 and have four children together. Wahlberg currently lives in Santa Monica, California. Wahlberg grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and was constantly in trouble with the law. By the age of thirteen Wahlberg had been confronted by the police on over 20 occasions and had developed a serious addiction to cocaine. Wahlberg’s first big hit was “Boogie Nights” in 1997 which provided a major jumpstart to his career.
The Departed Review The film takes place in Boston, Massachusetts, where Irish Mob boss Francis "Frank" Costello plants Colin Sullivan as an informant within the Massachusetts State Police. Simultaneously, the police assign undercover cop William "Billy" Costigan to infiltrate Costello's crew. When both sides realize the situation, each man attempts to discover the other's true identity before his own cover is blown.
A Must See Movie The movie “The Departed” can be summed up in a single word, Amazing. The plot build up complemented by an ensemble cast and a massive twist at the end add up to create one of the best movies of the decade. The movie takes place in Boston, Mass. and everyone has a masterful Boston accent which adds to the overall realness the movie employs. The movie is about an undercover cop, a dirty cop, and a mafia boss who all unknowingly collaborate together without ever knowing it. It is absolutely worthy of an academy award and deserves to win out of sheer awesomeness.
A “Must See” Movie The Departed is a movie worthy of an Oscar. It will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, anticipating what plot twist might come into play next. With an ensemble cast, Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg are only two of the familiar faces that can be seen in The Departed. This is acting at its best and can entertain the likes of just about anyone. Whether you are looking for drama, action, or a wee bit of comedy thrown in here or there, The Departed has it all.
