DON'T SHINE YOUR LIGHT! MATTHEW 5: You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

DON'T SHINE YOUR LIGHT! Jesus said – You are the light of the world Our light is meant to be seen by the world Are you LETTING your light shine? OR Do you SHINE your light?

OUR CLOTHING Many SHINE their light Wear a cross, Tee shirt, bumper sticker - “I love Jesus” LET it shine 1 Timothy 2: in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, 10 but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.

OUR LANGUAGE Do you SHINE your light shine in how you speak? Many use “spiritual jargon” They speak with a “stained glass” whine This send out a “holier-than-thou” attitude

LEARN THE DIFFERENCE Are you seeking to be in the spotlight? Are you LETTING your light shine? When people look at us – are they: Blinded be our “spiritual” light? Are they seeing US or the CHRIST in us? The world is in darkness. We are the only light they will ever see.
