Being As Our Teacher Is your guide blind? – Is your guide walking in darkness? (Lk. 6:39-40) Jesus is the greatest light one could have – life (Jn. 1:4) Life communicated through light of gospel (2 Tim. 1:10) Light for world, not for just a limited few (Jn. 8:12) Light shines in darkness – does not eliminate it, nor extinguished by it (Jn. 1:5) Light or darkness: our choice (Jn. 3:19-21)

Being As Our Teacher Walk in light – believe on light – sons of light (Jn. 12:35-36) Let the light shine in your life – dark world needs to see (Phil. 2:15, Matt. 5:16) Jesus offers abundant life through His light (Jn. 10:10)

Jim Jones – People’s Temple – 3,000 acres Northwest Guyana November 18, 1978 – 918 died suicide - mass murder – 200 children “Apostolic Socialism” - “Revolutionary Suicide” “The Blind Leading the Blind”

Being As Our Teacher If your teacher is blasphemed – What is in store for you? (Matt. 10:24-25, 12:24, 26-27) The Disciple must speak what God has revealed – even if it means death (Matt. 10:27) Destiny of our soul in Heaven has not been changed – Victory is ours! (Matt. 10:28, Rom. 8:37-38) The speaking evil of you – Expected (2 Tim. 3:12, I Pet. 4:1-4, I Pet. 2:11-12)

Jesus is Light – follow and shine Jesus is Humble – lower self to serve others Jesus is Blasphemed – expect the same
