National Level Repository CMS proposed a national-level repository in order to accomplish three statutory goals: – Ensure that there is no duplication of payments between Medicare and Medicaid and between states; –Ensure accurate and timely payments; and –Allow Medicare to meet its mandate for online posting requirements. 12
The Medicaid EHR Incentive Timeline Providers cannot initiate after 2016 Incentive amounts are linked to providers’ participation year, not the calendar year No fee schedule reductions like Medicare AIU in first participation year, MU in 2 nd and subsequent years 13
