History of the Mission The founders were Fathers Fermin De Lasune and Buenaventura Sitjar.It is near the Salnas and Nacimiento rivers. The mission was founded on July 25, 1797.

Daily Life Priest taught Indians religion. Indians made crops and were also used as soldiers. Indians also were taught how to take care of horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and chickens.

Special Features They have church where Indians pray and where priest teach them new religion. They also have a soldiers quarters where the soldiers sleep. The property was illegally sold by a dishonest and greedy governor named Pio Pico.

Mission Today Priest still do baptisms. They also do weddings. They do bingo on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Lastly they also do tours.
