Managing non-response / missing data Missing Data This refers to the required data for compilation of IIP is missing. Imputation carry forward previous period data mean regression apply growth rate of similar size companies of the same industry use administrative data

Quality adjustment ‘Quality’ refers to all the characteristics of goods and services that are sufficiently different to make them distinguishable from each other from economic point of view Any Change in quality must be considered accordingly. The method used to incorporate quality changes in the IIP depends on the data source and the methods used to compile the Index Deflated by a price index Avoid volume extrapolation
