6 STEPS TOWARD BETTER MEETINGS Corey Young Workfront Design Consultant

WHY DO MEETINGS FAIL? Transcribing progress into PowerPoint wastes time HOWZIGOWIN? Rehashing all the “fine” stuff Action items lack action Meeting minutes lack context “I’ll have to get back to you on that” Meetings without agendas meander Creating agendas requires too much preparation “Ok, let’s go around the table” Nobody acknowledges what we’ve done right

Imagine a world… Agendas are self-generating and focused on a specific project or collection of activities Action items are easily captured, assigned and tracked immediately Meetings stop being about how things are going and start being about the work that needs additional attention A BETTER WAY TO MEET

YOU HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY – IT’S HOW YOU USE IT
