Tuesday, 6/09/15 Goal: I can analyze how an author uses different elements of story telling to shape a narrative Homework: Short Story due at the end of class TODAY Materials: Laptop When done: Open your laptop, quiet down and wait for instructions

Short Story Requirements – 40 pts  You have traded with a partner and rewritten their story in a first person point of view with a new character’s perspective.  Your story is 1.5 to 3 pages  If you story goes EVEN 1 LINE over 3 pages you will lose points!  Your story is font size 10-12, font style Times New Roman or Calibri, and is single spaced.  Your story has a clear opening, 3 escalating actions, a climax, a resolution, and a wrap up.  Some thought seems to have gone into the setting, conflict, and theme of the story.  Some thought seems to have gone into who the characters are and there is dialogue between characters.
