LEADERSHIP REDEFINITION TEACHER TRAINERS- GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

LEADERSHIP REDEFINITION TEACHER TRAINERS-UBD

LEADERSHIP REDEFINITION TEACHER TRAINERS- X,Y,Z

GROUND RULE RELATED TO TEACHERS Teachers have the right to represent any subject which they believe would do value addition either to them or to the organization. If any teacher feels it was not taken in to consideration at any level, then they have the right to approach the next level up to CEO If there is a rationale for not agreeing and same was conveyed and got convinced, then the teacher is bound to be abide by that decision. No further debate on it. If the rationale is not agreeable, teacher can approach the next level with or without the consent.

GROUND RULE FOR TEACHERS Teachers should not be involved in group or clique formation or its promotion. Providing leadership for groupism, or promoting it will be treated as a serious misbehavior Teachers don’t need to approach Administrative Officer for work related matters. They can request the same to their compartment head and it is the responsibility of the compartment head to get it done by Administrative Officer. This will not include personal issues.

GROUND RULE FOR THE LEADERSHIP IN HANDLING TEACHERS All representation, be it minor be it major should be attended seriously. If it cannot be addressed then and there, intimate them when it would be considered and why? If the answer is no, then educate the teacher with its rationale. Provide them a chance to educate you Approaching an issue with a prejudice will be considered as inefficiency. Leadership should discuss administrative issues with administration than sending the teachers directly. But during urgency or if situation demands, then teachers can be directed accordingly. If the issues are remaining unresolved for more than a reasonable time, it can be escalated to Principal/Mentor/ CEO

GROUND RULE FOR THE LEADERSHIP TO WORK AMONG THEMSELVES Leadership should work very closely and should try to support each other. Any group formation by the leadership will be treated as serious misbehavior. Leadership should strictly follow “agree to disagree” principle and if there is any situation where consensus is not possible, the issue can be escalated. Informal sitting of the leadership for the general evaluation is highly desirable. High level of learnability is expected from leadership Leadership should try to enroll themselves to the vision of the organization by interacting the higher end leadership

RELATION BETWEEN ADMIN AND ACADEMIC Administrative Officer should not interfere in academic matters. Administration is not an end, Academic excellence is the end. Administration is only a means to the end. Any academic decision involves administrative support should be consulted with Administrative Officer In such situation, it should be channeled through academic leadership Any disagreement between administration and academic should be escalated to next level for the final decision Close cooperation between these two department is considered as the key factors for the smooth operation. Failure to support/understand each other will be considered as inefficiency.

RELATION BETWEEN ACADEMIC AND ADMIN During the interaction between academic leadership, Administrative Officer should communicate the rationale behind the disagreement if any. If the academic leadership is not convinced, it can approach higher authority with or without informing Administrative Officer Academic leadership should be considerate about the administrative difficulties in handling the affairs.

GROUND RULE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER Try to understand each employee on a personal level. Try to support them where ever possible within the organizational frame work and within the financial limits Try to be empathetic to support staff. Try to educate the person sitting on the other side of the table. Try to empower support staff Enroll support staff in to the vision Convey them the logic/spirit/rationale/ for not agreeing Always make sure the frame is intact Financial discipline is to be strictly followed.

REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES Any one in the organization can send personal mail to CEO with regard to any concern/suggestion. CEO will not reveal the name of the sender, but will look in to the matter objectively. The sender need not prove his or her point.
