How he became deaf. Frank P. Hochman was the first born deaf American to become a physician. He was born on December 26 th, 1935, where he was an infant deaf born baby. £: HE DEAF BORN.

Where he is from. Hochman is from New York City. £: NEW YORK CITY FROM HOCHMAN. Then went to Piscataway, New Jersey to go to college for medical terminology. £: P-I-S-C-A-T-A-W-A-Y, N-E-W J- E-R-S-E-Y WENT HE COLLEGE.

Why he is famous. Because he was the first deaf African American to become a physician. £: HE FIRST AFRICAN AMERICAN PHYSICIAN.

His family. For the first three years of his life, his parents traveled from doctor to doctor, from clinic to clinic, and from hospital to hospital trying unsuccessfully to find a "cure" or "treatment" for his condition. £: PARENTS TRAVEL HOCHMAN FINDING CURE.

Treatment (from others) Because of ability. Even though his ability was a little different from other people that didn’t make people treat him any different, However he was treated just like all the other kids. £: HE SAME TREATED.

Did they make an impact on how deaf people are treated today. And what? He made the impact on people saying; just because you are deaf doesn’t mean you need to be treated any different from other people. €: DEAF PEOPLE NEED TREATED SAME HEARING.
