ACCF Risk Management Institute The ACCF Risk Management Institute (ACCRMI) is being developed as a national risk management educational resource and is now available on CardioSource. Focus on reducing medical professional liability claims risk through education and improved patient care. The RMI contains information created specifically for cardiologists based on closed cardiovascular claims data from the past 20 years compiled by the Physician Insurers Association of America (PIAA).

ACCF Risk Management Institute The PIAA data is being used to provide RMI subscribers with information that can improve patient safety and mitigate national cardiovascular liability. Subscribers gain access to updates and newsletters on time-sensitive risk management topics, clinical case studies and educational modules providing CME/CE credit. Subscribers may also receive up to a 5 percent premium credit on their medical professional liability insurance through ACCRMI’s partner organizations.
