Presentation transcript:

Warm up: September 11, John, a patient at Jones City Hospital, is in tough shape. He has a hernia in his inguinal region, pain from an infected kidney in his lumbar region, and severe bruises and swelling in his pubic region. Explain where each of these regions is located.

JEOPARDY ANATOMY CHAPTER 1

RULES QUESTION GOES TO AN INDIVIDUAL MEMBER OF THE ROW. THEY CAN ANSWER IT FOR FULL CREDIT, OR ASK THE ROW FOR HELP FOR HALF CREDIT. IF THE QUESTION IS MISSED, THE GROUP WILL LOSE THE FULL POINT VALUE AND THE NEXT ROW WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO STEAL HALF THE POINTS. THEY MAY CHOOSE TO PASS THE QUESTION FOR NO PENALTY. IF THEY MISS IT THEY WILL LOSE THE POINTS AND THE NEXT ROW WILL ANSWER.

Why should I care? Jeopardy is fun! It is based off of the test! You can earn extra test points, even if you “lose”! Here’s how: Top 3 teams earn points: 1 st = 3 pts, 2 nd = 2 pts, 3 rd = 1 pt The team must be in the positive to qualify for bonus points. An additional ½ pt is added for each 1000 JEOPARDY POINTS A 1 st place team who scored 2000 points would receive 4 bonus test points NOTE: THE BONUS POINTS DO NOT COUNT TOWARD AN SUA OMIT. THEY ARE ADDED TO THE BONUS PILE AND ADDED AT THE END OF THE 9 WEEKS To qualify, you must participate (no sleeping) and must write your name on a piece of paper with the rest of your row.
