Operation: Setup and Communications to devices Device Connections Automatic Detection (Auto discovery of networked devices) After assigning a valid IP address, the system will poll the connected network for supported devices Manual connections End users have option to manually add/delete devices Automatically names devices User can change the name Communications Types (Modbus) TCP/IP RS-485 Serial Troubleshooting devices with communications errors marked/highlighted in red on the device list. Data Logging Onboard Data Logging: PC-based Data Logging: Power Meter 820/850 perform onboard data logging PowerView Software automatically data retrieves onboard files every 4 hours from Power Meter 800s The onboard data log interval is set in PMCU (setup utility) PC-based Data Logging: PC-based data logging is collected by PowerView for the high density meters and Series 700 Power Meters Default logging interval is 15 minutes and can be changed by the end user The measurements that are PC based data logged are a fixed set of parameters that cannot be changed Quantities (measurements) Logged: The measurements logged will be current, voltage, power, power factor, energy, demand power, demand current, and total harmonic distortion (THD).
