Grading  Grading according to the Walnut Valley School District  Semester Grades: a. Labs, homework, projects, openers 40% of the total grade. Stamp sheet will record the points. Some assignments will be collected for grading with different point values. Late Stamp sheets 50% of total points.

Grading Cont…….. { absent? Take exam on the day of return.}  All Test and Quizzes are 60% of the grade LATE WORK is not accepted Tardies to Class: Homework will be incomplete for the period. Zeros on quizzes. 100 pts. deducted from Test day. NO STAMP SHEET ON HOMEWORK DAY ? Stamp sheet assignment not filled in. NO CREDIT FOR WORK COMPLETED! Absent work is due the day of return! Get the homework from a friend or the teacher ( , check daily assignment sheet, website, call ext )

TESTING  ALL Tests are either or a combination of short answer (Marine/Chem/Environmental), muItiple choice (Chem/Environmental)/ True and false and modified true and false, matching, short answer and essay. (Chem/Environmental/Marine science)  FORGET YOU CALCULATOR? COMPLETE THE TEST WITH OUT ONE THERE IS NO SHARING OF CALCULATORS DURING THE TESTS. The information comes from the text and/or notes. No word banks are given

BE ON TASK AT ALL TIMES.

BATHROOM PASSES  PASSES ARE ONLY TO THE GLCS.  EXCESSIVE USES OF THE RESTROOMS RESULTS IN PARENTS BEING NOTIFIED.
