French and Indian War 1. Why did colonists consider George Washington a hero, even after he was defeated by the French? He was willing to stand up to the French even though he was defeated.

French and Indian War 2. Why did the rivalry between the British and French grow? They were competing over the Ohio River Valley because the English wanted farm land and the French wanted fur trapping territory.

French and Indian War 3. Why did the Albany Plan of Union fail? The Albany Plan of Union proposed the colonies get together to defend each other from the French. It failed because none of the colonies were willing to give up their power.
