PROCEDURES TO USE A ROTOTILLER PPT

PPT Procedures –Refer to Owner’s Manual for important instructions. –Locate and obey safety precautions indicated by the words “Warning”, “Caution”, or “Note”. –Visually inspect to see if it is mechanically fit to start (belts, tines, and hoses). –Check fluids, air cleaner, tire pressure, maintenance schedule and maintenance records to determine if maintenance should be done. If maintenance is needed, refer to Objective 6.04 for procedures.

PPT Procedures –Remove gas cap and fill fuel tank to approximately 1- 1/2” below top of neck being careful not to overfill. Replace the gas cap before starting the engine. –Use proper safety gear, such as hearing protection. –Start in a safe manner according to instructions in Owner’s Manual for the brand and model rototiller used. –Till a designated area to loosen soil to a depth of 3” using instructions in Owner’s Manual for the brand and model rototiller used.
