Daily Schedule Announcements/Settling in Community Circle Literacy Block Lunch (10:45-11:15) Recess (11:15-11:35) Read Aloud and RTI Writer’s Workshop OR Special Class Math Block Science/Social Studies/Inquiry Wrap up, snack, free choice, stack and pack up
Specials Rotation We follow a five-day rotation instead of a traditional five-day week; therefore, your child will not have specials on the same day of each week. P.E. Music Art Technology Flex Day We will attend library at least once a week. Your classroom teacher will let you know what day your child will receive books.
Lunch Students will have choices throughout the week Menu can be found on school website Please pack a healthy lunch (no candy) If you would like to eat with your child: - Sign in with the office -Meet your child by the cafeteria -No fast food, candy, or soda Snack - Must be healthy and quick (i.e. apple, grapes, goldfish, pretzels) - No utensils
Arrival/Dismissal The bell rings at 8:30 to start the day and 3:25 to end the day Please send a note if your child’s transportation home is different If your child’s transportation home changes during the school day or you forget to send a note, please call the office, we do not always get the opportunity to check our throughout the school day Early Dismissal days are at 2:55

Take Home Folder and Homework Everyday your child will come home with a take home folder Please check it every night for important papers and information Keep Home-These items stay at home Return to School-These papers need to be returned to school Book Baggies – Students will bring books home on a regular basis. Your classroom teacher will give you more information!
