Homework 0 STUDENTS WILL NOT HAVE HOMEWORK EVERY NIGHT, BUT SHOULD HAVE IT WHEN ASSIGNED. SOME WEEKS, THEY MAY ONLY HAVE ONE ASSIGNMENT. OTHER WEEKS THEY MAY HAVE FOUR, BUT THE EXPECTATION IS THAT STUDENTS WILL REVIEW NOTES/VOCABULARY EVERYDAY.

Make up Work 0 When students are absent, they can make up work. It must be completed within 5 days of the date of their last EXCUSED Absence. 0 A crate will be kept in the class listing all work done during the day for students to look at upon returning to school. There will be an assignment book there telling what was done in class that day. 0 OTHER LATE WORK—will receive a substantial late penalty and will not always be allowed. If you have a problem and need an extra day or so, please see me AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to make arrangements.

Lining up 0 Stand in the third block from the wall. 0 Stand one behind the other. 0 Stay that way as you walk—No talking during this time. 0 While I do not mind you having a piece of candy or gum in class, you should not be walking down the hall with suckers in your mouth.

Getting out of your seat 0 Getting out of your seat Not while I am teaching When you are quietly working, raise your hand before getting up. 0 Sharpening your pencil At the beginning of class. Not while I am teaching You can get up with permission while you are doing seat work.

Noise Control 0 You may whisper quietly to your neighbor if you need assistance or if you need a word pronounced. 0 If they can’t help, ask me. 0 No LOUD talking allowed. 0 If I raise my hand, everyone should stop talking, raise their hand and put their index finger over their mouth.

Fire drills 0 Follow teacher instructions: Go out the back door into the tennis court and turn around and face the building. No running or talking.

When you leave class 0 Make sure all assignments have been turned in. 0 Make sure there is no trash near your seat. 0 Make sure that books and other things have been returned to the proper place. 0 Exit in an orderly fashion without running
