Lombardi and Football Lombardi played football in high school and played in collage at Fordham university.

Pro football Was hired as a running backs coach for the new York Giants. In 1959 he was hired as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers. Coached from and 1969.

His sickness He was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 1970 died on September 3,1970 Vince was just 57 years old.
