الفعل A verb is word that signifies or represent an action The simplest form of verbs is the past tense and in its singular masculine form Ex: أَكَلَ He ate خَرَجَ He left دَرَسَ He studied

Other Tenses of the Verb Present tense and Future tense of a verb are formed by adding a letter to the past tense كتب Add ي as a prefix at the beginning for a masculine present tense يكتب . Add س and ي as a prefix for a future tense سيكتب

Past Tense verb Comes at the beginning of the verbal sentence كَتَب الولَدُ الواجب.The boy wrote the homework swag أكَلَ أحمَدُ الدَجاج Ahmed ate the chicken سَكَنَ سامي في ديربورنSami lived in Dearborn The verb will be followed by a subject : كَتَب الولَدُ الواجب.The boy wrote the homework
