Be Going To Be going + verb = specific future plants or intentions. Commonly used in conversations and sounds like ( gonna, gunna)

Uses Future plans: I’m going to study to night. He’s going to help me with my work. Future intentions: We’re going to move on Sunday. She’s going to take math this semester.

Time Expressions Later, after (in) a while, tomorrow, next, next( week, Sunday, month…etc) This afternoon ( evening, weekend,…etc)

Statements with Be Going To It has two forms Long form: They are going to leave soon. They are not going to leave soon. Contracted form: Nuha is going to finish her work tonight.  Nuha is not going to finish her work tonight.

Questions with Be going To Yes/No questions Is she going to travel tomorrow? Yes, she is (affirmative) No, she isn’t (negative) Are they going to attend this afternoon? Yes, they are No, they aren’t

The Future Tense Like going to, it expresses future: Intentions: I’ll work much harder from now on. Offers: Haya will find some books for you. Predictions : They’ll get batter grades next semester. Promises: Manal will do a good job next time. Requests: Will you help me with my work.

Statements in Simple Future Affirmative: I will study a lot this year. I will not study a lot this year Negative: They will travel to Egypt this vacation. They will not travel to Egypt this vacation

Questions with the simple Future Yes/No questions Will you have classes to night? Yes I will No I won’t Will Noura come with us ? Yes she will No she won’t
