What is beauty? What is "ideal beauty" ? Is beauty an addiction? Make-up Plastic surgery Bodybuilding Beauty and kids Wrong side of beauty Beauty survey Beauty in my opinion

What is beauty? Beauty is a characteristic of a person that provides some kind of pleasure, meaning, or satisfaction. In my opinion, external beauty is an addiction for most of people.

What is "ideal beauty"? An "ideal beauty" doesn't exist at all. It's some kind of external beauty which is taken as a perfect example for other people to look like. Everyone has her own opinion on the ideal of beauty which is changes over time.

Is beauty an addiction? I think almost all people are somehow addicted to their look. We take care of how we look in eyes of other people. If it wasn't important for us, we would not spend so much money for our look, but we would get focused on other things.

Make-up Cosmetics has a long history. To lots of women cosmetics means a lot. They feel better, socialy l confident and more attractive with make-up. Sometimes I think some people should eat some make-up to be beautiful inside for a whil,e too.

Plastic surgery Plastic surgery is a medical treatment concerned with the correction of form and function of any part of body. Sometimes people want to look perfect so much that they lose control and they choose the operation which is not important at all and undergo lots of pain. In many cases operations turn out badly and the results are worse than before

Bodybuilding Bodybuilding is a form of body modification involving intensive muscle growing. I think bodybuilding is a kind of addiction, too because when you start you want to be better and work harder and some people start to use steroids. Anabolic steroids are not healty for your body and they make people act aggressively.

Beauty and kids Addiction to beauty can start at a very young age most often because of the mother. In America there is a TV show called Toddlers and Tiaras. The show follows young girls and their mothers throughout different beauty competitions. Small girls get hair extensions, fake eyelashes, tons of make-up, spray tan and fake teeth to look perfect and win the competition. Even small babies(one year old) can take a part in this competition.

Wrong side of beauty One British mother admitted on American TV that she had given her eight-year-old daughter Botox injections. Child was taken away by social workers. Another bad side of beauty is that many of teenagers suffer from depressions because they are judged by other people for how they look and act.

Wrong side of beauty When people are trying so hard to fit in society, they may forget how healthy body should look like. Anorexy is an eating disorder characterized by refusing to maintain a healthy body weight, and an obsessive fear of gaining weight. Bulimia is an eating disorder characterized by consuming a large amount of food in a short amount of time, followed by an attempt to rid oneself of the food consumed, usually by vomiting.

Beauty in my opinion Of course, I take care of myself and I am a typical teenage girl, but also you may not like my hair or eyes or teeth or other stuff but it's my life and my body and I can change it if I want to, however there are more important things like your soul for example, because when you have a bad heart you can't change it.

Beauty survey In my beauty survey I asked five seventeen- year -old girls and five seventee-n year- old boys about their opinoin. Eighty percent of them live in a city and other twenty percent live in a village. Do you think that people can be addicted to beauty? Yes – 90% No – 10%

Do you think that in our society it is important how you look like ? No – 20% Sometimes – 50% Everytime – 30% Is a way how other people see you important for you? No – 10% Sometimes – 60% Everytime – 30%

Do you think that other people judge you for the way you look like ? Yes – 60% No – 10% Sometimes – 30% Do you judge people for the way they look like? No – 20% Sometimes – 80% Everytime – 0%

Imperfection is perfect and your imperfections make you special in your own way so be yourself and enjoy your life! Thank you for you r time and don't forget to smile
