Who was involved? Spain Italy England Netherlands Portugal France

They all border…

Access to water gave certain countries more wealth and power. We need water to survive and past successful civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Egypt and the Indus River Valley depended upon this invaluable resource.

How does water protect us? It serves as a natural border against attack.
