GO FOR THE GOLD, ATALANTA By Lara Ringey

CHARACTERS The main characters are Atalanta, Hades, Persephone, Artemis, and Meleager. Other characters are Honey, Mojo, Tiny, Melaion, Hercules, Meleager’s uncles, Boar, Aphrodite, Hera, King Iasus, Charon, The Fates, Cupid, Zeus, Queen Athlea, and other small characters.

Setting The main settings are Honey’s cave, Persephone’s apartment, Heros, King Iasus’s Palace, Queen Athlea’s Palace, The uncle’s cottage, and Mount Olympus

Problem The main problem in the story is Atalanta’s friend Meleager has a holly wood log. If it is burned to ashes Meleager will die of a terrible fever. So when his uncles steal it, he begins to die. The uncles want money for the hollywood log. But Atlanta needs to get all that money in a year or Meleager will die.

SOLUTION When a man named Melion is told by Aphrodite and Hera to use golden apples to throw on the track when he and Atalanta race. The golden apples would sell for a fortune and she used them to buy the hollywood log back from the uncles. But thankfully Melion didn’t win either.

THOUGHTS I’d give this book 10/10. I loved the plot and how athletic Atalanta is. Theres awesome cliffhangers that make me want to read more and more! I suggest you to read this book, and the whole series!
