Mercator to Visio TcDomain Inc

Mercator 6.5 “Map Export file” to Visio Export your map to an XML file. 2.Open the map named “Visio.mms” and change the From card’s input to the name of you XML file. 3.Run the map. 4.After running map, open "Visio.txt" in Visio by selecting File>Open and changing the "Files of Type" to "Text". Change Field Delimiter from to a comma and the file should open to a Visio diagram. Visio may take several minutes to convert the file and set linkages. 5."File>Page Setup" will allow you to fit the diagram on the desired number of pages. NOTE: For Visio 5, change "Basic Flowchart.vst" to "Template,Flowchart - Basic.VST" in card #2 "Visio" of the executable map named "Visio”.

Open Visio.txt as Text and select a comma as the field separator.

A Visio diagram is created saving hours of documentation time. The only modification needed is to increase the Page size to allow for the entire diagram to fit on the page. To do this simply use the CTRL key and drag the page to the desired size.

Once the page size has been increased, your finished Visio diagram will provide printable documentation for your map.
