American films hold 96% of the Canadian film market 70% of all programming on Canadian television is American, 83% of the films shown in Quebec are of American origin. 85% of the magazines by the cash register are American. The music on our radio or on the Canadian Music channels is mostly American. 87.4% of Canada’s exports go to the U.S. The top 20 companies in Canada include 9 American Companies. 4 of the 5 most productive fast food franchise in Canada are American For every Canadian fast food franchise in a mall centre, there’s an average of 3 American fast food franchises.
