 Vision  To create a literate India where each child has equal opportunities and enjoys their childhood with love and laughter, learning, and preparing for a life of dignity.  Mission  Bridge the educational divide through modern learning centers, which will meet the specific needs of the children of the migrant laborers.  Bridge the digital divide that exists between the impoverished remote villages and the cities by opening computer centers in villages.  To fight social inequity and ensure each child gets his or her birthright.

 SLC  I to III, then most to govt., few to private schools  Students: 105, 19 admitted to govt. school end  Teachers: computer + 1 part-time music/dance  English, Hindi, Math, Computers, Environment Sci.  Music, Dance, Recitation, Sports, Theater, Quiz  Free milk in the morning & mid-day meal  Subsidized books, stationery, uniforms, toys  Other  Remedial afternoon classes  Annual day, excursions, checkups, festivals, workshop  Monthly teacher-parent meetings

 Funding  : Berkeley  2009 On: SV  nd top donor 18% of their donations : Rs 7.74 lakh : Rs 7.32 lakh  Site Visits  9 since 2005
