Clearing Tips Utilize the quick whistle – catch the opponent ; practice quick whistles; in the pre-game conference determine the officials use of the quick whistle Buy Time when needed- get a horn, fumble with a mouth piece, sub someone – adjust your personnel – get the right guy on the ball Simple Commands : Bust, Up, Carry, Redo, Over, Bait, Switch Use the Margins – Don’t get trapped.
