Course Description Japanese I we learn…  How to speak, listen, read, and write Japanese at a very basic level  Japanese culture Japanese II we learn…  More advanced level of Japanese  Kanji characters

Course objectives  Develop four linguistic skills in Japanese: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.  Write in Japanese and to talk about yourself, your family, your school environment, sport, leisure, food and drink.  Communicate and interact with one another on a daily basis.

Rights and Responsibilities  You have a right to a safe orderly classroom.  Respect yourself, your peers, and teacher.  Respect the property of others.  Sit in your assigned seat when you come into your classroom.  No food & drinks in class except a bottled water.  Keep your hands to yourself.  Go to bathroom before coming to class.

Bonus points will be given. Sharing Japanese Current Events. Share authentic Japanese reading materials in class. Introduce Japanese movies, TV shows, Anime, music, and culture. Having an excellent attitude and by answering challenge questions. Helping to organize the classroom.

Cheating and plagiarism is not be tolerated. You will get “F” and suspended from class.
