T RANSFER S TUDENT P RE -A DMISSION R ECOMMENDATIONS CC YEAR 1: Research your UC/CSU major ID campuses that meet your needs Use Assist.org for transfer requirements (use ‘major’ search) Meet with transfer counselor to develop an education plan Plan best use of GI Bill entitlement Use TAP/TAG (if applicable); Associate Degree for Transfer (CSU) CC YEAR 2: Apply on time; apply to multiple campuses Complete Transfer Academic Update Apply for financial aid Explore housing options Complete transfer course requirements Meet the SIR deadline; some CSU campuses may have supplemental applications Attend Transfer Orientation
