How Garfield and Odie Saved Christmas

One Christmas Eve, Garfield was doing his daily routine, laying around and eating chocolates, when he discovered that Odie had left the house without telling anyone.

So Garfield decided to go and look for him. When Garfield was just about to walk out, Odie came running in the door in a big hurry!

Garfield said, “Odie, where have you have you been? I was just about to go out and look for you! You had me worried!” Odie smiled, “So you do care about me! Awe how sweet of you! But enough of the sweet talk, we have an important task to complete! Come with me.”

Odie led Garfield to a little magical train, “Great, we’re just in time!” said Odie. Garfield was shocked, “Where are we going? Oh wait, I remember that train! We’re going to the North Pole aren’t we?” Oh no not again thought Garfield! Odie looked at Garfield and said “Garfield, please just try and happy for once! Santa really needs us!” Garfield kept his words to himself and they didn’t talk at all until they arrived to the North Pole.

“Finally, we’re here at last!” said Odie. “Great.” murmured Garfield. They got off that train and started walking towards Santa’s house, when they we’re about to knock on the door Mrs. Claus opened it and said, “Oh dear, I was worried that you wouldn’t make it in time! Come in, come in!” Odie said, “Sorry Mrs. Claus, we came as fast as we could! Where’s Santa?” She replied, “In the Workshop! I really hope you can help, actually I know you can!” Odie and Garfield smiled at this and told her thank you and then they were on their way to the Workshop.

When they got in there Santa was sitting in his chair looking exhausted and worried! Garfield wonder what was wrong, still not knowing the reason why they were even there! So he said, “Santa what’s wrong?” Santa looked up and said, “The elves, they can’t build the rest of the toys because they are very ill and we only have exactly seven hours until I have to leave! I’m afraid some kids won’t have Christmas this year.” Santa looked really sad after he said that.

After a long pause, Santa looked up and said," That's why I called you gentlemen! I think you can help finish the little amount of toys that are left!” Garfield looked shocked and said, “Build toys, what?”

When Santa finally talked Garfield into helping, Garfield went and meet Odie in the toy workshop and started helping him! They were very serious that they were focused and determined to get all the rest of the toys finished so the little ones will have Christmas!

It was 8 o’clock when Garfield and Odie finally finished all the toys, which was just in time to get them to Santa so he can deliver them to the little kids! When they took all the toys to Santa he was so happy that he couldn’t stop smiling and laughing! When Santa was ready to leave he asked Garfield and Odie if they wanted to ride in sleigh instead of the train and they gladly accepted the ride!

When they got home they said their goodbyes and went into the house! They were so tired that the went straight to sleep!

When they woke up that morning, they went down stairs and their whole room was filled with presents! They were so overwhelmed they were speechless!

Garfield and Odie helped out in the North Pole since then!
