Coordinate Picture Goal – Design a picture using straight lines on the Coordinate Plane. Process 1) Draw a rough draft (5 pts) 2) Draw a final draft on graph paper (10 pts) 3) List the sets of coordinates that define each line (10 pts) a) Must have at least 20 lines and no more than 30 lines b) Some of the lines must be diagonal c) This page should be typed if at all possible 4) Hand in all three papers stapled together. Do not put your name on the list of coordinates page. 5) Each person will get someone else’s list of coordinates which they must use to graph the picture. (5 pts) Grade – Project grade based on the above point totals Due – Friday, February 13 (I know, an unlucky day)

Section 1-5 Midpoints and Segment Congruence Definition of a midpoint – The midpoint M of is the point between P and Q such that PM = MQ. Midpoint Theorem – If M is the midpoint of Segment bisector – any segment, line or plane that intersects a segment at its midpoint. Theorem – A statement, usually of a general nature, that can be proved by appeal to postulates, definitions, algebraic properties, and rules of logic. PMQ 66
