General Mathematics General Mathematics is designed to promote the development of skills, knowledge and understanding in areas of mathematics that have direct application to the broad range of human development.

General Mathematics Topics studied are: Financial Mathematics Statistics Measurement (area,volume and trigonometry) Probability Algebra

General Mathematics Who is this course designed for ? Students who have completed Stage 5.3 or 5.2 in Year 9 and 10. Students who have excelled in Stage 5.1. This course is designed for the majority of student who will study maths in the senior school Students who will be studying an university course that has no requirement for mathematics as assumed knowledge eg arts, law, social science, education

Mathematics The Mathematics course is intended to give students an understanding of and competence in further aspects of mathematics which have some application to the real world.
