Conclusions 1. The need for Assisted Living and Nursing home care on Orcas will become more pronounced with projected population increases 2. If residents are to continue living here through highest old age, some forms of structured living will need to be provided. 3. A steering committee is needed to further explore the broadest picture of senior housing, including costs, sites, construction and management of such facilities.
