(4) Do you know what is the main reason? (5) Can you tell me how were the sales in China? (6) Do you know if the meeting will start on time? (7) Do you think you could answer a few questions for me? Task: Two of the following indirect questions have gramma mistakes. Work with your partner to find the mistakes and correct them. Then change the seven indirect questions into direct ones. Then, Student A asks teh indirec questions and Student B responds with direct questions without liiking at the book. Grammar mistakes in Sentences 1,4 and 5.

B. Role play Task: Take turns in explaining how to send a fax from the machine in your office. Use the following expressions. A: Could you tell me how to use the fax machine? B: Yes, of course. First, you...  First, put the document in the machine face down. Wait until it's engaged (接合 的).  Then, when the light comes on, enter the fax number you want.  Next, press the start button. The machine will be dial automatically( 自动 ).  After that, wait until the document is finished going through the machine.  Finally, you can print out a report.
