A Map of Your Journey to Now

2 Your Journey  Each of you have recently “moved” to the second floor of the two story building at Mountain View, and some of you have moved to Mountain View from another school.

3 Your new home What are your memories?  What has this move been like for you?  What are your memories of your life so far? What places have you lived?  What do you know about growing up?

4 Your assignment….  …is to show your memories in a map! You will create a map of your journey so far. Be imaginative! Have fun!  Think about how you can show your journey from a familiar place to one that is new (the same experience all new immigrants have) visually. You can use words, pictures, lines, and all sorts of things. These maps can have keys, symbols, labels, whatever you want!  They need to have correct spelling and show your careful, detailed work, because we are going to display them for your parents and all visitors to see. Here are a few examples to get you started thinking about how you want to do your own.
