Adam S’s March Response 15 BY ADAM S. MARCH 2015

Basketball

Why I chose this? I chose basketball because the main character Josh and his brother JB are basketball fans who play for their school team and have the own cool styles.

(sweet) Tea

Why I chose this? I chose tea because JB gets a girlfriend that interrupts JB and Josh’s relationship. Eventually Josh gets angry and does something I won’t say so I don’t spoil anything too much. Sweet Tea takes a big role in this story because she almost completely drives the two away from each other because he is so obsessed with her.

Free throws

Why I chose this? I chose this because JB and Josh always had to do free throws every night on their basketball hoop at their house. And the book ends on JB and Josh shooting free throws together outside.

Krispy Kreme

Why I chose this? I chose this because JB, Josh, and their dad always go to Krispy Kreme after games or just on the week end or whenever. JB and Josh’s mom tells their dad not to eat too many because of his blood problem and his blood sugar.
