WHO *subject or object pronoun for people EX: I told you about the woman who lives next door.

WHICH *subject or object pronoun for animals and things EX: Do you see the cat which is lying on the roof?

WHOSE *possession for people animals and things EX: Do you know the boy whose mother is a nurse?

THAT *subject or object pronoun for people, animals and things (who or which are also possible) EX: I don’t like the table that stands in the kitchen. I admire people that can do winter sports.

WHERE *referring to a place EX: There is a big shopping mall where you can find everything.

WHEN *referring to a time EX: I love times when I see my favourite movie on TV.
