History 1999 – Russian Leadership Pilot program (RLP) for young Russian leaders is established 2000 – RLP acquires permanent status 2001 – Open World Leadership Center is established and program renamed 2002-present – Open World Program for the Russian Federation leaders 2003 – Pilot programs launched for –Lithuania, Ukraine and Uzbekistan –Cultural leaders from the Russian Federation
Open World & Rotary nearly 2,000 OW delegates hosted by US Rotary clubs –Overall, Open World hosted 8,800 leaders Rotary clubs in 44 states and Washington, D.C. hosted OW delegations 70 Rotarians from Russia participated in the program as OW delegates Rotary clubs in Russia and OW Alumni work together on joint projects
