Prince Edward Island National Park is on the North Shore of P.E.I.

PEI is connected to New Brunswick by the Confederation Bridge

Ferry Boats and the Bridge are the normal ways to get to and from PEI

The National Park Named P.E.I. is in the Cavendish and North Rustico area

Prince Edward Island National Park

Prince Edward Island National Park Natural features : sand dunes, barrier islands, beaches, wetlands and forests. Cultural features: Anne of Green Gables site Dalvay-by-the-Sea Yankee Gale shipwreck memorial

Many people come to swim and lounge at the beaches and Sand dunes

It also preserves important HABITAT and Wildlife The National Parks System Plan plans a park to preserve a unique combination of physical and biological characteristics in Canada. Canada has 39 distinct “Natural Regions”. One goal of Parks Canada is to establish at least one national park in each of these regions. Prince Edward Island National Park represents the Maritime Plain Natural Region within the National Parks System
