Gobi Desert The Gobi Desert is the largest desert in ASIA. It covers 500,000 square miles. Many animals live in the Gobi Desert. People live in the desert. The Gobi Desert is very dry but also very cold. By Emma Brien

Gobi Desert The Gobi Desert has massive rocky areas, large dry grasslands, and a good bit of sand, but it also has bodies of water. Surface and underground rivers run through the desert, which is also home to some lakes. Some of archaeology's most significant finds have come from the Gobi, including the first dinosaur eggs. It is nearly 3,000 feet above sea level, and so its temperatures are very low. By Emma Brien

Gobi Desert The Gobi desert is Asia’s largest desert, stretches nearly 1,00 miles. In the present, Mongolians still live here and are culturally the same as they were important cities. The Gobi desert has large deposits of copper and gold, and Chinese and Mongolian officials are looking into mining operations. By Emma Brien

Gobi Desert The Gobi desert is one of the world's great deserts. It covers much of the Southern part of Mongolia. Unlike the Sahara there are few sand dunes in the Gobi; Rather you'll find large barren expenses of gravel plains and rocky outcrops. Precipitation averages less than 100 mm per year, while some areas only get rain once every two or three years.. Great Gobi National Park is one of the largest World Biospheres with an area larger than Switzerland. It contains the last remaining wild Bactrian (two- humped) camels, wild ass, and a small population of Gobi Bears? the only Desert-inhabiting bear. By Aerin Behar

Hang He River What is the Hang He river used for? The River is used as a water supply for towns and villages, but t has silt in it. During World War 1 Chinese troops under Chiang Kai- Shek broke the levees on the hang he river in order to flood the valley and stop the advance of invading Japanese troops. The flood was massive and killed over 900,000 invaders. By Gabriel Shaw

Yellow River The Yellow River The Yellow River is the 6th longest river in the world. The Yellow River is the 2 nd largest river in China. People use to call the Yellow river the great sorrow. It runs eastern. The Yellow River is more then 80% is polluted. Not a drop of rain fallen in a month. The Yellow River gets its color from silt (fine sand) that gets blown in the water. The length of the Yellow River looks thin but it is really big. The Yellow River flows from the Tibetan river for 3,400 miles. The Yellow River is the 3 rd longest river in Asia.
