Tour de Cell. Goals of this lesson: 1. To understand the difference between plant cells and animal cells.1. To understand the difference between plant.
Cell Review SOL 5.5. Which part of the cell represents the cytoplasm?
 They are all made of cells  Nucleus  Cell wall.
 Both animal and plant cells have cell membranes that enclose the cell  The cell membrane holds the cell together.

November 12, 2015 Activity Title: Cell Structure and Function. Challenge: How does the structure of a cell contribute to its function? Concepts/Vocabulary:
1 Number your paper Captures sunlight and where photosynthesis takes place.
Cells. Simple organisms such as bacteria, are single cell. Plants and animals are made up of many cells. Each kind of cell has a particular function.

This is the jelly like substance inside the cell. This is the brain of the cell. It directs all its activities. These give the cells energy. They release energy in the cell. This holds the cell together and separates it from its surroundings. These store food and water i n the cell.
