CenterLine Guidance Devices CENTERLINE 220 : Brings together automotive DGPS technology with TeeJet Technologies highly respected guidance technology to provide a low cost, medium performance unit designed to act as a foam marker replacement. Provides pulsed speed output that can also act as a source of ground speed for a product controller.
TeeJet Technologies FieldPilot Steering Assist System, now CAN based to Integrate with TeeJet Legacy Controls and Mapping Systems. Using the Legacy Console, FieldPilot can provide headland, curved and straight line steering with Midrange performance. FieldPilot Automatic Steering Systems
PLUS CenterLine 220 Providing Position Information to the FieldPilot Control Module Provides a Low cost, WAAS DGPS, Assisted Steering System for Tillage and Broadcast Application Operations. Introducing in Early 2007 Entry Level FieldPilot System
Tilt Compensation Module Corrects DGPS position for pitch and roll of the vehicle which enhances the performance of: Automatic Steering Manual Guidance Tracking Accuracy of “As Applied” Mapping ROLL PITCH
Dual Channel CAN Based Control Module Combines the functions of four of the first generation modules into a single, two channel control module resulting in a major reduction in system cost and complexity.
Swath Manager Automatic Boom Control CAN Based Automatic Boom Control turns boom sections on and off depending on position in field and whether the area has been previously applied.

Controller Area Network (CAN) Controller Area Network Each module is a separate computer, all working together (CAN Working Set) through a communication Bus, which transfers information from one module to the others. CAN
Twelve years ago there were two major development paths for CAN communication standards, LBS/DIN in Europe and SAE J1939 in North America. A joint standard was a dream. LBS/DIN evolved around using a common user interface, UI (Virtual Terminal) SAE J1939 evolved around controlling engines and transmissions. Both used common electronic hardware developed by Robert Bosch, GmbH. ISOBUS ISO 11783
ISO an International Electronics Communications Standard for CAN Bus communications in Agriculture and Forestry applications. An OPEN Standard. ISOBUS ISO ISO merges J1939 and (LBS)DIN 9684 resulting in a common CAN protocol standard. ISO SAE J1939 CAN 2.0b (29 bit) (LBS) CAN 2.0a (11 bit) DIN 9684
ISO Activities in North America Implementation Task force Organized four years ago, coordinates with similar European organization. North American ISOBUS Implementation Task Force… AEM NAIITF members are companies interested in ISO and also members of AEM. NAIITF members act as advisors to the ISO Working Group, reviewing proposals and documents. NAIITF promotes joint certification standards between Europe and North America… and the establishment of NA test facilities…Wyle Labs in Cedar Falls, IA is current NA facility. NAIITF booth at 2005 Agricultural Machinery Conference in Cedar Rapids, IA ISOBUS ISO 11783
ISO Activities in North America NAIITF sponsors “Plugfests” in North America and coordinates with similar European activities. Allows informal demonstrations of inter-connectability between different manufacturers devices. NAIITF sponsors informational demonstrations, technical sessions and special speakers at engineering oriented conferences in North America. NAIITF November 2006 ISOBUS PlugFest at CNH Burr Ridge facility. ISOBUS ISO 11783
Implementation Group ISOBUS, an affiliate of VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau - German Engineering Federation) in Europe has been very active in promoting ISOBUS in Europe. IGI is similar in organization to NAIITF in North America, promoting and sponsoring PlugFests. A South American Group is forming to act in a similar capacity to NAIITF and IGI, serving South America. Their first major promotion and PlugFest is scheduled for this March. There is interest in Italy to establish an Italian test facility which could certify compliance with the ISOBUS Standard. This would compliment DLG in Frankfurt, Germany and Wyle Labs in Waterloo, IA. ISOBUS Around the World
TeeJet Technologies is Strategically Involved in ISOBUS TeeJet is represented on ISOBUS Group Implementation (IGI) in Europe and on Working Group One (WG1). TeeJet is also a member of NAIITF. TeeJet has a representative on the executive committee of NAIITF. TeeJet representatives review ISO proposed standards and changes to standards, vote and provide input to the ISO Working Group.
ISOBUS ISO ISOBUS Tractor with Virtual Terminal ISOBUS TeeJet Implement Controller, boom functions and rate controller TeeJet ISOBUS Field Trials in the Netherlands
ISOBUS ISO The Tractor Virtual Terminal is the only User Interface to control and monitor tractor functions as well as the sprayer implement functions.
For this Trial, Boom Fold, Boom UP/DOWN, Boom Section shut off control, and Application Rate Control are all manipulated by the Operator through the Tractor Virtual Terminal which commands the Implement Control Module.
Implement Control Screen is shown on the Tractor Virtual Terminal when chosen by the Operator. Graphics displayed on the Virtual Terminal are defined by the Implement Control Module. Operator uses soft keys or touch screen to manipulate the implement.
ISOBUS ISO TeeJet Technologies views ISOBUS standardization to be equivalent to the standardization of hydraulic couplings and fittings that took place nearly 40 years ago. It is important to the future growth of electronics applied to agricultural vehicles. TeeJet Technologies supports ISOBUS!
