Who? Gaius Julius Caesar 12 th July 100 BCE Tall, Fair haired but bald wears ……… and well built Aurelia, Gaius Julius, Cornelia Julia, Soldier and a politician a heroic leader Killed by a party of 60 people called Brutus, Cassius, Ligarious, Metallus, Casca, Trebonius.

What? Julius Caesar dead by daggers Improve laws and army Amazing ideas, trust, solve all problems, people angry about government. Popular and powerful

When? On the 15 th of march- 44 BC the sad, despiteful, unfair, depressing, gloomy, miserable, cheerless and distressing death of Julius Caesar had occurred. SAD

Where? The traitors stabbed, assassinated and finally killed poor, helpless Julius Caesar 37 times as he stood at the base of Pompey's statue, in Rome.

Why? The politicians thought that he wanted to become king that he would marry Cleopatra and their child threat to future Rome. Brutus wanted to get rid of him so they stabbed him dead!

How? Killed as he attended his last meeting. A large group of 60 …….. people came to the meeting with daggers hidden in their togas and stabbed Julius dead.

Fun fact Did you know that the Romans were so fond of his ideas and outstanding commitment to the government and to Rome that they named the month July after Julius Caesar!
