Defining the “One Stop Shop Student Services Model (OSS)” Centralized location, where students can gain access toward college services in one building vs. scattered offices throughout campus in order to enhance accessibility of services. Discuss measurements of bldg. 2 story, x# of services housed there, set-up of services like a mall

Advantages Student can potentially complete matriculation process with more efficiency Counselor can walk student to appropriate service if necessary Limits first time student intimidation factor Consequently may assist in reducing number of students that are lost through matriculation process Allows for efficient consultation/communication with other service staff

What is Connect 4? Matriculation process: students complete four components- Apply, Test, Orientation, Registration Target population: Recent high school graduate, feeder high school Includes referrals made by Upward Bound, Bridge Program, Counseling/Advising, other student services, or high school
